After doing some digging on the developer's twitter I noticed a few things.
Dec 6th, 2022: A potential new perk: Premonition and a new event Repulsive Reflection which may be character specific. The developer implies there's no new character associated with either. Making it more likely to be added to a current character, or possibly another custom mod example.
Nov. 23rd, 2022: a new status: Bad Decisions. Unclear if its foreshadowing original content or highlighting user-generated content for mods. The developer doesn't clarify in the thread and it was also shared on Oct. 2020. Seems to be unused concept art.
Misc. Honorable Mention
Mar. 11th, 2020: There was originally an extra special option tied to the True Believer difficulty planned for the Lighthouse that seems scrapped.
Also, slowly coming to the realization that Dreadful Dreams is probably the last major update. Given its scheduled summer release it seems the current game is the final game. I'm not mad at it, but I also wouldn't say no to some TLC from some DLC.
