On the Seaside, the players can spend Funds to buy items, be it at the Hardware Store (that contains, mostly, Strength-based weapons) or at the Illegal Den. They can also spend their Funds (alongside their Stamina and Reason) at the Monument in order to reduce Doom (although they can't access it while their Doom is below 20%).
