Combat

The Mad Janitor can be defeated by using two Story Action options during combat.

• TOPPLE A LAMP will end the fight immediately and inflict Burn. You will get the SCHOOL BURNED DOWN town status, which prevents the player from recruiting students at the School. It will show Ending C of Macabre Memoir of Morbid Mermaids.
• FORCE MANHOLE OPEN takes up to 3 rounds to finish if the player has a Crowbar or Monkey Wrench equipped, and up to 6 rounds otherwise. When it opens, the fight ends immediately and shows Ending B of Macabre Memoir of Morbid Mermaids.

Enemy Drops

Upon defeat he drops the Fire Axe in Ending A of Macabre Memoir of Morbid Mermaids.

Fire Axe can unlock a Story Action in Bizarre Bruit of the Blood-curdling Botanist.

Trivia

• The demo has a different pre-battle line, where it is shown as it follows:

"Not giving up after the previous failure, the obsessed janitor has found another body to experiment on - you!"

• In the demo, his teeth can be seen. In the early access version, they are not seen and only a tiny portion of his chin is visible.
