Injuries and Curses, also known as Status Effects, are afflictions added to the Player Character from a variety of sources.
Injuries[]
Injuries are bodily damage caused by physical altercations. They're characterized by the ability to be healed via the Doctor's Office, with the cost depending on the severity of the affliction: 1 Fund for Minor and 2 Funds for Major.
Minor injuries can be healed with a Bandage, while Major injuries can be healed with a Medical Kit.
Treatments[]
Treatments are added after an Injury is healed at the Doctor's Office.

Curses[]
Curses are often psychological traumas or eldritch curses inflicted upon the player, primarily through events and by wishing at the Witch's Tree. There are currently only 3 ways to remove curses: using the Onyx Medallion given from Ayaka, using the Old Coin given from the Curious Birthmark background, and the Stuffed Toy from Restless Rumors of a Residential Recluse. Multiple copies of a curse can occur simultaneously.
