Check Book is personal Preparation item of Juri Okusawa.
Using it gives you +5 Funds at the cost of +3% Doom. It can be used repeatedly.

The Check Book can be used with any character. However, because of the fact that Preparing for the Check Book gives you +5% Doom, and usage gives you +3% Doom, this will translate into +16% HORROR meter. It's usage is not advised when playing as Juri.

While not displayed in its description the Check Book has a secret illicit tag meaning you can't sell it unless you have the Yakuza Card perk, if you do possess said perk you can sell the Check Book for 1 fund.
