The Chainsaw is a unique weapon that can only be acquired through the Perilous Parable of the Peculiar Painting mystery.
With the combination of dealing high damage and being one of the fastest, if not the fastest close-combat weapons in the game at a whopping 55 speed, the Chainsaw is one of the most powerful and devastating weapons in the game. Even its low hit chance is mitigated by the amount of attacks the player can theoretically dish out.
Its only real downside is the complexity of acquiring it and making it functional, which involves two other items (a light source and fuel) that don't even appear in the only mystery it's obtained in.
