The Broken Bottle is a weapon in World of Horror.
Essentially the broken version of the Empty Bottle, the Broken Bottle has poor damage, slow speed, and a low hit chance.
Combat[]
The Broken Bottle is statistically the worst weapon in the game, alongside its fellow improvised weapon, the Branch. It should only be used if the player has no other weapons equipped.
It also possesses the same stats as the Branch, but is a Dexterity weapon instead of a Strength one, and does sharp damage rather than blunt.
The Broken Bottle is one of the few weapons to feature the special trait of being fast to equip, allowing it to be equipped mid-combat. There is little reason to do so unless the player character is unarmed.
The improvised weapon's most frequent utility is being thrown in combat for an additional 3 damage.
Since the Broken Bottle sells for 0 FUNDS, it is an ideal item to discard for the sidequests in Rotten Report of a Rancid Ramen and Sorrowful Saga of the Moonlight Sailors.
Acquisition[]
- Random chance to be gained when using the 'Look for an Improvised Weapon' support action during combat.
Trivia[]
- Blind enemies like the Burning Man and the Doll Nurse can be used to collect large amounts of Branches and Broken Bottles for future use through the 'Look for an Improvised Weapon' action.
